Career Highlights

    Austin started racing Quarter Midgets when he was 9 years old at Pomona Valley Raceway. He achieved Three Honda 160 Championships in a row and numerous third and second place finishes and a world record for the Honda 160 class. 

    After racing Quarter Midgets for 5 years Austin moved up to the Jr. Ford Focus class in 2007 at Ventura Raceway and finished 2nd in

points for the season and received the

Rookie of The Year Award.

    Austin moved to the USAC Ford Focus class in 2008 and ran an abbreviated season racing both pavement and dirt with a Beast combo car. 

    In 2009 to 2012, Austin raced in abbreviated seasons in the USAC Western Midget Series and VRA midget racing series with his Wide body Edmunds Autoresearch Midget powered by a 200 inch Fontana Automotive Rhino Engine.

    In 2012 Austin drove an abbreviated season in John Springstead’s #14 Maxim sprint car in the USAC/CRA series at Perris Auto Speedway.

    For 2013 Austin will be racing for JSR in the #14, 777 car in the Young Gun series at Perris Auto Speedway and also in the #36, Eagle In the CRA Sprint Car Series.
