August 17 - Austin was running good in the A main until the motor overheated due to a pre-main fuel jet swap that ran the motor lean.
August 10 - Due to an uncontrollable engine oil leak the team was not able to make the Santa Maria race.
August 9 - Austin was running mid pack when his left rear tire went flat, Austin continued to race but was black flagged later on in the race when officials noticed.
